The new Christian Book Suggestions page also has movies! The list isn’t finished yet, but so far it
includes movies like Mandie and The Last Chance Detectives for kids and
other interesting movies such as The End
of the Spear, Faith Like Potatoes, and
of course all-time favorites like The
Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and it’s sequels. Below is a list of some of the movies and what
they’re about.
The Last Chance Detectives
#1 – Mystery Lights at Navaho Mesa
#2 – Legend of the Desert Bigfoot
#3 – Escape from Fire Lake
This is a great movie series for kids and even teens. They are older movies and you’ll probably
have to watch them on VCR but they are fun and sometimes dangerous mystery
adventures for the four main characters, Mike, Winnie, Vince, and Ben. Christian principles are show throughout,
also. You can even read them as books!
The End of the Spear
An emotionally moving movie based on the true story of missionary Jim
Elliot and four other men tried to make contact with the violent Waodoni tribe
in Equador and what happens. I don’t
want to give everything away so I’ll leave it at that, but it is a must see for
Christians!
Two movies that no Christian should ever go without watching. They are an incredible showing of God’s love
in this world. I saw them both with my
youth group and I think it is a great movie to watch with a youth group. PLEASE WATCH!
