Will You Answer?

Someone will speak

Many will hear

Some will answer.

If you heard the Master speak

Of glories He’ll prepare for you

Will you answer?

Or will you turn away –

A Pharisee – as the Master

Instructs you on what is

Right, what is wrong,

How you need to change.

When Paul preaches to you,

Bound in chains by angry Jews,

What will your answer be?

Will your heart send up a

Petition for forgiveness and grace

To the Master

Or will you speak as Agrippa:

“Almost thou persuades me to be a Christian.”

When your blind eyes are opened

To see Jesus dying on the cross

All sin laid on Him

And when He is raised from the tomb

Alive and defeating death forever

Will you run into His arms

Will you receive the gift of life?

Some will speak

Many will hear

Will you answer?
